My name is Nora and I am a recent graduate in UAM’s Waste and Wastewater Management master’s degree. In recent years I have worked as a Product Manager, mostly in the digital sphere. After building a digital twin for water networks, I realised I had discovered a fascinating sector and wanted to become an expert.
I’ve led strategic projects in a wide range of sectors, including aerospace. In-house, consultant, freelance; I’ve always found my place. All these years working in technology and digitalisation have enabled me to recognise when a challenge has a technological, organisational or cultural solution.
I originally entered the digital sector practising Service Design and Interaction Design, and the skills I acquired still permeate everything I do today. I love my craft, specially when working in projects that are fulfilling, fun and that will make me smile when I look back on them. For instance, creating Civimetro for Civic Innovation Labs.
In my free time I tinker in a workshop (my Industrial Designer past is to blame for this), I do bird and insect watching, I practise contemporary dance, and I enjoy any valuable reading that comes my way.
